Vero Beach Plastic Surgeon Offers NeoGraft for Advanced Hair Loss Restoration

John M. Sarbak, MD utilizes the NeoGraft surgical technique to help patients suffering from hair loss achieve natural-looking hair restoration results with a better recovery.

Vero Beach, FL – Dr. John M. Sarbak, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Vero Beach, strives to provide the most innovative, beneficial procedures to patients of his practice. He is proud to offer such options as NeoGraft™ hair transplantation for those suffering from thinning or balding hair, describing the surgery as “an advanced procedure with increased surgical precision.” Dr. Sarbak says NeoGraft™ holds numerous advantages compared to traditional hair restoration methods and is very pleased with the results he has seen with his patients.

Unlike such hair transplantation techniques as the “strip method”, which harvests whole sections of hair follicles, NeoGraft™ utilizes the follicular unit extraction (FUE) system to harvest each individual follicle separately and transplant it into the target area. While this can be more labor intensive, Dr. Sarbak explains that the special instrumentation created by NeoGraft™ makes it possible to perform a large-volume procedure within a single, in-office visit. Utilizing this method, he says the success rate for each individual hair follicle is upwards of 95%. Dr. Sarbak also notes that with this method, no stitches or staples are required; there is no linear scar; and the recovery is generally faster.

While the hair restoration technique can be highly beneficial for many people, Dr. Sarbak says not everyone is a candidate for NeoGraft™. He highlights that the donor site must have enough density so that after the hair follicles are harvested, it can still provide reasonable hair thickness to the area. During each patient’s evaluation, Dr. Sarbak notes that his team will also look for certain medical conditions that may complicate the transplantation procedure or cause it to fail. Should a patient not be a good candidate, he will recommend alternative options to help them reach their goals.

Dr. Sarbak encourages anyone interested in the advanced hair restoration method to seek a highly qualified physician to perform their procedure. By doing so, he says patients can expect a safer surgery and more positive, natural-looking results.
